Music composition and production with Free Software

Tiago Bortoletto Vaz

I'm willing to present a small talk about how I've been using free software for my musical works, including software for traditional orchestral notation, electronic compostion, ear training, audio processing and sound synthesis. That includes chatting about MuseScore, Python (pyo library), Ardour, Cecilia5, Jack and others excellent tools present in the free software world.

I may also present an online radio that I run with music 100% written in Python (http://radiopyo.acaia.ca/) where all compositions are also free software, available at https://github.com/tiagovaz/radiopyo.
